Unions and Workplace Flexibility Lunch

On Friday, October 22, the Kalmanovitz Initiative will be co-sponsoring a lunch talk on flexible work arrangements in the union context.  Dr. Peter Berg of Michigan State University will present his recent research on this topic, which offers original insights for unions, employers, researchers and advocates.  Discussants include Elizabeth Bunn, Organizing Director at the AFL-CIO; Armeta Dixon, Vice President, 1199 SEIU United Healthcare Workers East; and Kris Rondeau, Organizer and Negotiator, AFSCME.  Jennifer Luff, Research Director of the Kalmanovitz Initiative, will moderate.  The lunch talk will be held from 12:30 – 2:30 pm in Room 2000 of the Hotung Building at the Georgetown University Law Center.  Details on the attached flyer.  If you are interested in attending, please send an email to kilwp@georgetown.edu or call 202-687-2293.
